Singletrack Sleigh Ride!

Starting at Marquis' Drive visitor center and cafe (NOT Birches Valley) we ride down past fairoak pools and to the start of the singletrack route called "Follow the Dog" A technical 7 mile singletrack mountain bike trail which includes technical trail features. Built and maintained by volunteer group Chase Trails, Follow the Dog is constantly evolving and being improved. Current highlights include the ‘Stegosaurus Rock Garden’, ‘The Boardwalk’ and ‘Tackeroo Blast’. This ride is a Christmas beginers singletrack ride so will be a slow amble round the route so no pressure on going fast or doing obstacles riders aren't comfortable with. Proper Mountain Bikes are a must as are Helmets on this ride. If you have spare tubes/puncture repair kits please bring those as well. Parking is available at Marquis drive visitor Center and cafe in the adjacent car park (charges apply) or for free on the road or the free cyclists car park 50 yards past the visitor center. Each rider participating in a group ride does so at their own risk and they are responsible for ensuring their own safety.
