Starting from - The starting point is a sliproad just off the A570 Rainford Bypass , close to The Elephant Indian restaurant, ive dropped a pin on google maps where we start from and it comes up as WA117TA , close to 428 Ormskirk Road , Rainford , St Helens . We have started a few from here before . WA11 7TA

The starting point is a sliproad just off the A570 Rainford Bypass , close to The Elephant Indian restaurant, ive dropped a pin on google maps where we start from and it comes up as WA117TA , close to 428 Ormskirk Road , Rainford , St Helens . We have started a few from here before .

This is a slightly updated version of a ride from a couple of months back , keeping it under 30 miles with a reasonable climb up to Billinge where we will sample the delights of Billinge Ice Cream Bar and Café , before heading upto the stocks at the top of Highfield Hill ( bring your own rotten tomatoes ) , before doing a circuit around Garswwod and Senley Green , before heading back down the A580 cycle path to Kirkby and then heading back through Simonswood to the start point at Rainford .
