Free, women-only bike rides led by experienced Breeze Champions. They are a great way to get started in cycling or to improve your skills, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist.

We will meet at the cafe in Hove Park (tucked behind the tennis courts and next to the public toilets). If driving, there is parking opposite Hove Park in the retail park (TKMaxx and ToysRUs) or on the residential streets around Hove Park.

The route is flat and on seafront cycle paths and quiet roads. There is a short section that requires us to dismount our bikes and push (through the Shoreham Port locks). There can often be a strong wind with this coastal route, so be prepared for hard work into a headwind one way, then speedy return with tailwind coming back! Once in Shoreham we will pause for cuppa, cake, and chat before returning the way we came. Bring clothing suitable for the weather, money for the cafe, and roadworthy bike - please check before heading out: Are the tyres fully inflated? Do both brakes work? Is the chain clean and oiled?
