Hind Leys Community College, Shepshed

Guided bike ride from Shepshed along the National Cycle Route no.6, the Garendon Trail, to Loughborough. Ride will be steady at a pace to suit all ages. Features a break at the cafe at Charnwood Museum at half-way. Majority of the ride is on traffic-free trails, with a few short-stretches on quiet road. Accompanying the group will be ride leaders to help the group to negotiate junctions and to keep the ride flowing as far as possible. This ride is a part of Charnwood Borough Council's 'Move more 4 less' activity week of cut price or free activities. From Monday 20th to Sunday 26th there are a range of activities for just £1 or for free. These include indoor cycling sessions at Loughborough and Soar Valley Leisure Centres and a Disability Cycling Session at Loughborough College. We request that those under the age of 5 must be in a BSA approved child-seat, trailer or tag-a-long and helmets are worn by all under 18's.
