Sheffield - To Redmires Reservoir, Once you're up, you're up! - 9 miler

This wonderfully scenic route incorporates all that South Yorkshire has to offer. Starting from Fulwood House Car Park the route offers limestone wall lined country roads meandering through idyllic rolling hills and woodland Wildlife Trusts. Beginning in Fulwood, the route heads west parallel with Porter Brook, through the quaint suburban, setting before climbing up circling Peter Wood. The ascent is a rewarding one, with the vista taking Lodge Moor and the undulating farm lands. Although there will be some climbing, there's no problem getting off and walking occasionally - and it will be worth it for the fantastic views - almost as far as the east coast! The route continues out towards Redmires Reservoirs where there will be an opportunity to stop for refreshments and admire the views.  The route returns past Wyming Brook Nature Reserve, this time cycling North side of Peter Wood to re-join Mayfield Road and winding back home.
