This is a circuitous route around a string of Pit villages of South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire leading to the country estates known as 'The Dukeries'. Having travelled the beautiful, undulating countryside from one county to the other, the route runs alongside the wildlife haven of Welbeck Abbey Estate Lake and through the South Gate of Clumber Park. Back through the East gate and onto the market town of Worksop. Round to Dinnington before returning to the start.
