Settle Fish & Chip Ride

Settle Fish & Chip Ride Today we're going to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales to sample their fish & chips. This ride will be led by Hugh, Skyride leader & NSI Instructor. Setting out from Billington we'll ride through Whalley & Clitheroe before riding through the Ribble Valley to Sawley, Wigglesworth, Rathmell & on to Settle, spending time to have a bite to eat & a look round before heading back. If conditions allow on the way back we'll take a scenic route back turning after Wigglesworth to head for Gisburn & returning via Rimington & Chatburn. There are some lumpy bits in this ride, but nothing too high & most are steady inclines. This will be a lovely ride with something for everyone. We'll ride at a steady pace of 11-12 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together & have a really pleasant ride. We can all do the lumps at our own pace & we'll reform at the top. Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, Helmet & lights checked & ready. Please aim to be ready to ride 15 mins before the ride start time, getting away on time is good for everyone. It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you.
