About the route
Starting point
Park off Isel Road Cockermouth in roads behind the new Hospital. (Free road side parking). Meet on Isel Road
A gradual rise onto Elva Plain on a quiet country road. Then a quick downhill, past Setmurthy church, and back along the Isel road which just rolls up and down. Scenic rolling countriside. Lakes distillery will not be open till 15th December so we have to do this one again in January to try their new bistro!
