A partial eclipse of the sun is due around 7pm. We will use a mainly traffic free route to the high point of Weetslade Country Park where we should get a good view.
Be prepared for disappointment if it clouds over at the crucial time

NEVER look directly into the sun. I will bring a few special viewing glasses but please supply your own if you can.

It is likely to be crowded and we might have to leave our bikes unattended so bring a good lock
Don't forget some lights if you're planning to be cycling home after sunset

Please remember your wet weather gear and tools to fix a puncture or other mechanical issue. Also a drink and a snack
