Sefton Park

Come and join us on this lovely easygoing ride of 3.5 miles which loops in and around Sefton Park. The ride takes us around the lakes, passing Palm House and the Oasis in the park café with a loop around the Samuel Smith Obelisk before making our way back to the start point. The ride is almost completely traffic free and certainly one not to be missed for families and anybody looking to have a nice gentle ride in pleasant company on a Sunday! This ride has been British Cycling assessed as an accessible route, meaning it is suitable for the majority of adaptive bikes. The route will have no or low levels of traffic, there will be plenty of space and will have a good surface throughout. Our Easygoing rides are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They’re up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour.
