About the route
A 22 mile ride from Menston, through the lovely market town of Otley, and on to the small village of North Rigton. Plenty of hills to get the heart pumping as we climb up towards Almscliffe Cragg before arriving in North Rigton for coffee & scones at The Square & Compass - plus a shot of smarties! The return journey is mostly flat or downhill with just one climb into Otley via Farnley Road, before returning to Menston. The ride is mainly on quiet lanes but does involve cycling through Otley which can be busy with traffic.
