Scarborough Scoot

Next week (7th August) we are going to break with tradition and meet at Holbeck carpark, at the usual time of 6.30pm.  Due to popular request, we are going to cycle down to Filey and have refreshments on the beach.  We will ride down the old Filey Road and travel along various small roads and pathways in order to avoid using the new road.  It can be done on a road bike.  There are no steep hills but it is undulating.  If anyone has a problem getting to Holbeck carpark please let me know and we will try to pair people up with transport. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don't have one please do not worry, you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.   We really welcome newcomers to our rides; we will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind.
