Breeze Ride Notes
Next Saturday (21.12.13) we will meet at the Nag’s Head Pub in Scalby at 1pm. We will cycle up Haybrow and cut across the top towards Reasty Bank through to Silpho. We will descend the Windings to Hackness and make our way along the Forge Valley to East Ayton and Wykham. Refreshments will be at Wykeham Tea Rooms after which we will return via East Ayton Lodge. We will climb up to the radar station, cycle along Racecourse Road, down from Jacob's Mount and back along Scalby Road. Road bikes will be fine for this ride and don't forget your lights.
Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don't have one please do not worry, you can still take part. If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.
We really welcome newcomers to our rides; we will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind.
