Scarborough Scoot

Next Saturday, 2nd November, we will meet at the Nag’s Head Pub in Scalby at 1pm.  We will ride up Hay Brow to Suffield, along Reasty Bank and down Reasty Hill.  We will then ride around Harwood Dale and along to the A 171.  We will spend a short time on the A 171 before we turn off at the Falcon on our way to Stationdale.  We will then make a change to our normal road routine and join the cinder track, travelling down to the Station Tea Rooms at Cloughton for refreshments.  We will continue down the cinder track to return to the Nag’s Head.  This is an 18 mile ride with some hills; it will not be suitable for road bikes due to the cinder track stretch.   Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don't have one please do not worry, you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.   We really welcome newcomers to our rides; we will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind.   Don’t forget….
