Scarborough Breeze - SATURDAY SOCIAL

The winter series of Scarborough Breeze SATURDAY SOCIAL rides will be for women who want a social ride of approximately 20 - 25 miles (not suitable for beginners) -

Rides are led on local roads and, being Scarborough, will involve some hills but we will take them steadily and regroup at the tops.

We will definitely be stopping en route for coffee and cake!

The Saturday Social is one of the two weekly Scarborough Breeze rides which will take place each week throughout the winter months. This is definitely the 'social' one!

We will mainly be riding on quiet local roads although sometimes there will be occasions when we will have to use main roads. Also, being Scarborough, there will be the inevitable hills but we will take these steadily and always regroup at the top.

There will be regular stops to regroup but the main stop will be the café for coffee and cake! Bring a lock to secure your bike. A helmet is essential. Please also bring a spare inner tube (in case of a puncture - we will be there to help) and money for the café stop.

As the evenings begin to draw in it will be necessary to have lights fitted - front and rear.
