Sawley, Grindleton, Waddington & back via Painter Wood with The Young Weavers

This ride is the replacement for the White Coppice & Anglezarke ride. An error on my part, I'd forgot about the Royal Lancashire Show at Witton so, to avoid the masses on that side of town we will ride this little gem instead. Still an afternoon start due to holiday and other commitments we now ride out via Whalley to Sawley and return via Grindleton, Waddington and back via Painter Wood, as classic a climb locally as any I've ever ridden. Great scenery throughout today and by the looks, we're in for a treat with the weather. If time allows we'll stop at Waddington cafe for a short coffee stop, if this is closed it's a full ride without a cafe stop due to the later start.
