Led by experienced ride leaders, these rides are a great way to explore new places and to meet new people who enjoy cycling. They are suitable for all levels of experience, so whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist, you can find a ride that is right for you.

Meet outside TKMax at 10.00. This is a steady ride (not challenging) through Horton Park, Epson Common, Ashtead Common and back to Thames Ditton via the Coverts, Ardbrooke common and Littleworth Common. There is a choice of cafes/deli at Ashtead. Approximately 24 miles. Open to all, suitable for ages 16+. Suitable for hybrids, mountain bikes, not suitable for skinny tyres as there will be paths.

Please bring the following :
• A bike in good working order with tyres pumped to the correct pressure. Please check your brakes work and the chain runs freely. Bring a spare inner tube, pump and tyre levers. A helmet is recommended.
• A drink and a snack and food
• A cycle lock for use at coffee stop

This is a cycle all on roads. It’s a longer one but flat, approximately 36 miles. The route uses a lot of bike lanes but some roads without so need to feel confident to handle some traffic. Option to get train home from Waterloo or Vauxhall. As we are heading to winter and this is a long route, the ride may be shortened or adapted for inclement weather conditions. Plan for route to take 5 to 6 hours in total allowing for lunch and coffee stop. Meet outside TKM max Kingston at 10.00 and we will make our way up through Richmond park along the river and super highway to Brick Lane. Lunch at the Bagel shop. There are other places nearby for anyone that can’t eat bagels or bring own lunch. Open to all, suitable for ages 16+. Suitable for road bikes and lighter hybrids, gravel bikes.
