About the route
For people from north of Sunderland, a dual start. From S. Shields ferry landing, head along coast road to join other riders at Bungalow Cafe, Roker.
Continue onward on NCR1 until Castle Eden where we break off onto NCR14 to Hartlepool. Lunch at the Marina before returning on same route.
This route not suitable for road bikes, or road tyres!!
