About the route
As usual beginning at Newcastle Quayside Cycle Hub heading up to Consett following the popular Derwent Walk route from Swalwell, offering fabulous views across the Derwent Valley. Then its mostly downhill on the Consett-Sunderland Cycle route to Beamish crossing over towards Sunniside then its freewheeling back to the HUB.
