Saturday Christmas Ride

As the following Saturday will be a little close to the big day this will be the last weekend ride before Christmas. If you would like to dress up or decorate your bike please feel welcome. We will call into the Weyhill Fair on our return for refreshments.

Heading out from Charlton we will head across town to Salisbury Road and from there out to Clatford via Balksbury. A bit of a hill then over Red Rice. From there we will head towards the Wallops, round the back of the airfield, then up to Grately, round Thruxton Circuit and back to Weyhill for our refreshment stop.

This is classified as a Challenging ride. It is a good step forward for some of you who have completed Steady rides and are looking to ride a bit further. There are a couple of challenging hills, but nothing too steep. As always we wait at the top of this hills as everybody rides/walks at their own pace.

Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
As always helmets are compulsory on all of our rides. Bring a spare inner tube that fits your bike along with tyre levers and a pump. Don't worry if you can't fix a puncture we will all muck in.
Bring a little money for the refreshment stop and enough water and snacks for the duration of the ride.
Eye protection and gloves are recommended.

Newcomers are welcome on all of our rides. No one is ever left behind.
