Saturday Cake Earner - Options a plenty at Wellington

Maintain your hard earned fitness over the winter and stay motivated with our autumn series of weekend cafe rides. Once a month over the autumn we're planning a few longer road rides out into in the Hampshire countryside. These will be around 35-50 miles and include a cafe stop midway where we can refuel on coffee and cake. This week we are going to Wellington Farm Shop via Odiham, Newnham and Strafed Saye. Our 35 mile route will take us out of Fleet through Church Cookham and into the Hampshire Lanes. The route is undulating with a few ups and downs although nothing too steep to climb or descend. Our cafe stop comes after 20 miles and we return back to Fleet via Bramshill, Phoenix Green and Dogmersfield. We will meet outside Pedal Heaven Cycle Shop in Fleet at 9.15 so we are ready to set off promptly at 9.30. Please make sure you wear clothing comfortable for the weather and carry a rain / wind jacket (if you aren't wearing it!). The wearing of a helmet is mandatory for this ride. Also, as we'll be riding for up to 1.5 hours before our cafe stop please bring enough food and drink to last you for the first part of the ride and some money to spend at the cafe stop.
