Maintain your hard earned fitness over the winter and stay motivated with our autumn series of weekend cafe rides. This month - subject to the weather- we’re going to the Village shop cafe at South Warnborough for coffee and cake. Our undulating circular 40 mile route includes a few longer hills and will take us out of Fleet through Cookham Village and Crondall to Bentley. We’ll then head up the hill through Foyle to Golden Pot and past Lasham Airfield before descending through Upton Grey and turning left to South Warnborough for our cafe stop. Our route home will be a little flatter and, time permitting, take us through Greywell to Newnham and Rotherwick before crossing the A287 and back to Phoenix Green, Winchfield and Dogmersfield. We will meet outside Pedal Heaven Cycle Shop in Fleet at 9.15 so we are ready to set off promptly at 9.30. We are aiming to be back by 1.30. (3 hours 15 cycling / 13.5- 14mph average). Please make sure you wrap up warm with plenty of layers for the winter weather and carry a rain / wind jacket (if you aren't wearing it!). The wearing of a helmet is mandatory for this ride. Also, as we'll be riding for up to 2 hours before our cafe stop please bring enough food and drink to last you for the ride. Also, bring a spare inner tube and pump. Unsure if this is for you?
