(0) ReviewsCome and join us on a fully guided and easy-paced ride to Carr Mill Dam, St.Helens. This popular route is mostly traffic-free and passes along the picturesque St Helens Canal through lovely woodland scenery. The lakeside cafe is always a popular stop and a great place to chat with your fellow riders. Our return is back through Sankey Park and we will again see the Nine Arches viaduct and views of open farmland that form the valley.
We will be using shared cycle paths and sections of gravel paths throughout. Any road section are only to briefly cross junctions.
Stops can be made along the route for taking photographs and our mid-ride stop is usually 30-45 minutes
Helmets are mandatory if under 18 years and recommended for everyone. Please pack suitable clothing to suit the weather. A basic tool kit, -puncture repair kit, spare inner tube, or sealant. Mobile phone, Money or card if making any drink purchases. Cycle lock
