Sandwich Guildhall to Kingsdown

New route from Sandwich to Kingsdown.

Our route takes us out through the villages of Woodnesborough, Eastry and Whitfield where we will then head back through Kingsdown, Walmer and Sandwich. If the weather is favourable we will stop for refreshments at the Cafe on the Green at Walmer. Alternatively, we can grab a coffee at the end of the ride at the Sandwich Shop in Sandwich.

Overall, the route is mostly on quiet country lanes and smaller roads but there will be some riding on busier roads so expect some interaction with traffic. Please note this route is undulating with some hills so is rated as challenging.

Please remember your.....
- cycle helmet
- spare inner tube, pump and tools needed if you don't have quick release wheels
- water bottle(s)
- suitable clothing
- any medications
- change for refreshments
- a contact number for a lift/assistance in case of mechanical breakdown!

Please check your bike over before you leave for the ride eg. brakes, tyres, chain, gears etc.
