Leave the Leo Carpets, Whalley New Road we take the road towards Langho, turning left at the Old Bulls Head (now the co-op) to climb up to Ramsgreave and Mellor.
Turn left down Abbott Brow and cross the A59 (careful!) to join the Bezza Lane route but turning left again onto Woods Brow to rejoin the A59 near the Canberra Club. We now join the new link road which will now be open to general traffic. This takes us to the A677 which we cross and head towards the Nabs head where we turn left again past Stanley House. A right, then left takes us to Mellor where we turn right down Whinney Lane and back onto the bypass to our start point
Mileage is about 14 miles and all are welcome. Remember to have good lights and proper clothing. It could be cold or wet!!
