Saltram figure of 8 to Stonehouse

This route uses quiet roads and on road cycle paths. The route follows a figure of eight across Laira Bridge and is urban but also scenic as it rides through some green spaces and across the beautiful Plymouth Sound. We may visit Wyndham square and Royal William Yard. There is a cafe stop.
We will not be stoping to look at Plympton St.Maurice but following a new route

A ride into old Plympton St Maurice to look at the Castle. On to Sherford and across Plymstock to Oreston for a coffee? Across the Laira Bridge and into Beaumont Park along the NCN2. Across the University Campus we cycle along the NRW towards the Naval Hospital. We return along The Hoe Sea front before getting back across Laira Bridge and returning through Saltram.

We may stop to look at Plympton St Maurice and have a coffee at Oreston or at Queen Anne's Battery. We may look at some unusual historic features along the route
