Saltburn Special

The route will incorporate a slightly undulating journey from the coastal café in Redcar, through Marske, Saltburn, Kirkleatham and nearby woodland area. The route is around 10-12 miles and can be done either way round– depending on wind direction! We will be travelling on-road cycle lanes, traffic free cycle paths, possibly gravelling/uneven bridal ways and woodland tracks. So you can get a feel for everything! Also, during our journey , Saltburn will be hosting their monthly farmer's market. A chance for us to find out what stall are there, maybe sample some local delights, or take some local produce away with us. Nearest train station to start point is: Redcar East.
