Starting point

West Yorkshire
BD18 3JJ

We will meet at All Terrain Cycles, Salts Mill, Saltaire Please note that if arriving by car, the post code is a rather vague BD17. Use the free car park off Salt's Mill Road. Mostly towpath or private access road, we travel along National Cycle Network 66, through Rodley and onto the volunteer operated Nature Reserve. Here we can get a cake and a cuppa, but if you think you will need something more substantial, take a sandwich to eat in the visitor centre. The reserve has several wetland areas populated by a wide variety of birds which can be viewed from any of several hides should the day prove suitable. Binoculars? Yes if you want. I'll try to remember to include a bird book. I would advise that you bring a drink and a snack for top ups along the way, also some money for refreshments when we stop. All are welcome, you just need a roadworthy bike with a spare inner tube of the correct size (just in case). Wearing a helmet is advisable, though not essential. The towpath can get muddy after rain, so please bear this in mind when choosing what to wear for the ride ;-) My number on the day is :- 07940 975 971 Mainly towpath ride so apart from a few locks, it is flat.
