Let's get out and pedal away our cares in the local countryside. If you haven't been on a Breeze ride before you will find that we are a friendly bunch. We enjoy chatting whilst we're cycling, and no-one is left behind. The majority of this route is flat and off-road. We'll follow the Bridgewater Canal, traffic-free tracks, the Trans Pennine Trail, roll through farmland and woodland, along the River Mersey, circle Sale Water Park, and wheel home on the canal towpath. Your bike will need to be in good working order. I advise bringing a spare inner tube & pump in case you get a puncture. Some of us take a bottle of water to drink along the way. A helmet is recommended. We’ll stop at Café Metro for refreshments, so bring some money for tea and cake, or whatever.
