This ride is for all those thinking about, or already signed up to the Saints Foundation Bike Bike Challenge 2017, or those who are just looking for a longer ride with like-minded cyclists. More information about this 2-day charity cycle ride if interested is here: http://saintsfoundation.co.uk/saints-foundations-big-bike-challenge-is-back-for-2017/ The route this time goes out into the New Forest, to Beaulieu and Brockenhurst, the lovely ornamental drive, and Minstead and woodlands. We'll stop for tea / cake/ food at the end of the ride. We will split into 2 groups, the faster will be riding to an average near 15mph ( so 3 hours [about 1:15pm] Plus the stop at the end for those who want to stop, have food and a drink, chat and ask questions etc.). The slower group will probably be about 12 or 13mph average ( It will be at whatever speed people are comfortable with) and hence take about 3.5 hours to complete back to the food / drink stop (so back a little before 2pm). If you need to come by car and want to park at the Stadium, please park in the NORTH car park. This is pay and display and sometimes only takes coins!
