Saddle up along the shoreline

The route takes in the 13 mile path with great views of the Weston shoreline. Starting from East Park and following the shoreline all the way to the ancient maritime village of Hamble, via the Royal Victoria Country Park and back again  There's plenty to see  including Itchen Bridge, Weston shore views, the Chapel in Royal Victoria Country Park and the beautiful Hamble village. The route takes you past two great refuelling stops at Hamble Beach Café or in the Royal Victoria Country Park and is best suited to mountain bikes, hybrid or gravel bikes.

We especially welcome new riders wishing to discover new routes.

We will ride together at all times at an easy pace that everyone is comfortable with. Please bring a drink and a snack to keep you energised but we can make a stop at the cafe at Hamble or Victoria Country Park where toilets, snacks and drinks are available. Bring a means of payment if you'd like to purchase from a cafe.

Make sure you wear clothing appropriate for the weather conditions and a cycle helmet. Please also bring a pump and spare inner tube that fits your bike if you have one.

This ride may be shortened dependent on the conditions and those attending. If you have any questions or concerns, please just message me. If feeling unwell closer to the ride and unable to attend, please cancel your place so we release it to someone else.
