(0) ReviewsA circular route starting and finishing in Buckshaw Village. You'll ride to the local high point, whizz through Top O'Th Lane, scramble up a bridleway, and return via NCN55 through the beautiful Cuerden Valley Park.
There is a proper mix of terrain on this ride, something for everyone: off road over a nature reserve, along a canal, and up a bridleway, quiet country lanes between the canal and the bridleway, and returning via a shared traffic free cycle route.
We shall pause en-route for snacks and drinks as required. We'll also be climbing to a local high point so if you want to stop and take photos then we can.
Helmets are mandatory for junior riders and strongly encouraged for adults. Bring inner tubes suitable for your bike(s), snacks, drink, a smile and maybe a joke or two. Please also dress appropriate to the weather. Mudguards are advised.
We especially welcome newbies!
