Three Parks Via The River Ribble is a virtually traffic free route. A mix of paved and unpaved shared paths will take this meandering ride through woodland, alongside the River Darwen and the River Ribble to Hurst Grange where we shall pause for a café stop and if any juniors wish to play in the park they can. The return journey again is alongside the River Ribble through Miller and Avenham Parks to ascend to the viaduct across the Ribble and follow the old train line, now NCN Route 55, back to Bamber Bridge and returning to the start point.

An easy going route with a café stop and a play area, visiting the the parks of Avenham, Miller, and Hurst Grange.

The route is largely traffic free utilising shared paths.

There will be a café stop at Hurst Grange.

Helmets are mandatory for junior riders however we strongly encourage helmet use for all riders. Bring drinks for the ride, snacks if required, and spare tubes for all your bikes. Juniors must be accompanied by a riding adult.

We especially welcome newbies!
