Rutland Water Rumble

Hi, This is a fine trundle around one of Britains loveliest waters.   I usually do the 17 miler, especially since the weather is likely to be cooler.  I reckon it should take a couple of hours depending on folks abilities and fitness.  We'll stop at the cafe at Normanton on the South Shore for a cuppa/cake/butty! This route definitely needs a mountain bike with knobbly tyers!  You also need to bring a spare inner tube (I've only once had a flatty in hundreds of rides) and a bike pump.   Dress for the weather - probably several layers.  If in doubt, give me a shout! If you don't have a mountain bike then don't fret 'cause Rutland Cycling hire them out (and I could probably get a discount for you if you let me know in advance).
