About the route
Starting point
Asfordby Village Hall, Asfordby, Nr Melton Mowbray. There's plenty of free parking - always a boon!
This will be a fine ride from Asfordby through various villages to Oakham and back. We'll head out around Rutland Water and to the Harbour Café which sits on the edge of the water and has wonderful views - perfect for a sausage and egg butty! We'll be doing an average of approx. 12mph covering around 45 miles.
