Rusty Duck Loop

Starting out from the historic Max Gate in Dorchester, we will head east out of the town on the cycle path then quiet country lanes. We follow route NCN2, as many of our routes do (e.g. to Moreton, Wool, Wareham and Arne), then turn north on Watery Lane towards Tincleton. Another left turn takes us on the lane where the Rusty Duck café sits.

Unfortunately, The Rusty Duck Café is currently closed whilst it changes ownership, so we won't actually pause there on our ride. Instead, we will keep going (often easier in the winter, as it's harder to keep going after a stop in cold weather!) and have the option of having a cuppa together at the end, in the Trumpet Major pub next to Max Gate. For those that don't have the time for a cuppa at the end, they can say good bye there as we will have finished the ride.
