Roundhay Park

Come and join us on this fantastic ride through the beautiful grounds of Roundhay Park in Leeds.  The route starts at the dam end of Waterloo Lake before setting off on a twisting loop through the whole of Roundhay Park on the wide pathways and tracks.  If the beautiful grounds aren’t enough to enjoy we will be stopping at the Mansion and the Lake for a breather and to take in the views.  Why not end this great ride with an ice cream at the cafe!  At 3 miles long this ride is perfect for families, new and lapsed cyclists alike. This ride uses part of National Cycle Network Connect 2 Project, soon to be (NCN) route 667. To find out more about the NCN and other great places to cycle near you everyday, go to the Sustrans website (http://www.sustrans.org.uk/ncn/map/national-cycle-network). Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding? Our Easygoing rides are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They’re up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour.
