Heading North of Preston from Avenham on the Guild Wheel, then the new Cycleway alongside the Edith Rigby by pass and a short length on rural lanes to Roots. Return on a weather dependant mix of canal towpath and rural lanes to regain the Guild wheel cycleway back to Avenham
