Rodley to Saltaire along the Canal

A steady ride along the canal towpath from Rodley to Saltaire and back again, with a stop for refreshments at the half-way point before returning via the same route (which is all off-road until we reach Saltaire). The group will go at a speed suitable for everyone - no-one gets left behind!

Saltaire is a World Heritage Site and home to the famous Salt's Mill featuring shops, cafes and an art gallery with many works by David Hockney. There are also several cafes and bars in Saltaire village.

Dress for the weather conditions - several thin layers and gloves are ideal and a waterproof jacket would be advisable. Suitable for most types of bike as the towpath is now mostly surfaced.
