Roaring Reds Breeze the lanes on a Wed eve

Dear Roaring Reds of Breeze Harpenden & St. Albans Please join us to breeze around the lanes for 15 miles at around 12.5 – 15 mph on a Wednesday evening. Come for a fast and exciting ride and feel the wind in your hair! Here is a link to the route - https://www.strava.com/routes/2603326 It is 15.3 miles long with 1,062 feet of climbing and so quite hilly! We meet at 19.00 for a quick bike check / introductions, heading off at 7.15pm, returning for a well-deserved drink at the pub and a catch-up. For other group riders that would just like to meet up just for a drink, I am looking at us getting back to Harpenden around 20.45 and so a sociable drink with you would be lovely (do not book on the ride to register interest for the social – just show up!). If you are unsure whether you can keep up, we will regroup at the top of hills and after fast flat stretches - you will not be left behind! For the ride please be aware that your bike needs to be in good working order and please bring a spare inner tube with you in case of punctures. Please also bring lights. Please wear a helmet, dress according to the weather conditions and bring enough liquid / food to sustain a hard one hour’s effort of exciting riding. Please make sure that these rides will be suitable for you. If you want to ride a shorter distance or at a more leisurely pace, there is much on offer in this area as we are blessed with a very active network of Breeze leaders.
