Look out for our inflatable gantry for the start line. You can start you challenge any time between 12-3pm.

Ride to Rio is a challenge to active and non active people of Bromley to get on their bikes and collectively ride 5,760 miles to Rio. Whether you complete one lap of our one mile route in Norman park or 30 laps it will all add up to our goal. On the day everyone will be kept updated on how close we are to reaching our goal through our website www.bromleyroad2rio.co.uk and there will also be regular announcements. Road to Rio is free to enter and all participants will receive a me) pre-race information. A disposable timing number plate ( which you will collect on the day from the registration tent) must be attached to handle bars with the number clearly showing. This will allow us to know count how many miles you have completed. Before or after taking part in the road to Rio join us in our Sports village and Biking Buzz zones where you can take part in lots of activities and challenges including- • Smoothie Bike – Come along try our famous Smoothie Bikes, where your own peddling will power a smoothie maker to make your own delicious smoothie! • Bling your Bike Boutique – Bling Your Bike and make your bike stand out at our Bike Boutique • Under 5’s weeny wheelers – get the little ones to have some pedalling fun • .Bikeability Balance (Reception/Year 1) • Dr Bike Clinics • Try our beer goggle challenge • Egg helmet challenge • Met Police – exchanging places – sit in the driver’s seat and see for yourself the blind spots in the cab of a Met Police lorry • Met Police – Free Bike Security Marking • Cycle Stunt Show • And much more… *please note that there is limited parking on site and therefore where possible please travel to the park via bike or public transport. There will be some parking available at Bromley College car park (Rookery Ln, Bromley, Kent BR2 8HE). * During and after the event you will be able to log onto our website where your name and how many miles completed will be published.
