riding to the big waters-weetslade-bury pond spectacle?

As an assistant ride leader on this run i'll be cycling to the start, if you are interested in joining me for a mostly off road ride to the start (and ride back after). I'll be starting from the 2 mini roundabouts in south gosforth at the end of the gosforth to wallsend waggonways (post code NE3 1QL) where there is plenty of opportunities to park if you want to drive to there! it is around 5.5 miles to the start of the big waters run so setting off at 08.45hrs to plan to be at the start for around 09.30. allowing the 9 miles of the big waters run and 5.5 miles back you have a nice 20 mile mostly off road ride to enjoy. Consider a trip to the steels cycle sale on your way back, we are just yards from there when we return. Allowing time for the big waters ride you'll be back to the mini roundabouts for around 12.30pm. I'll be doing the same for the Gosforth Park run if anybody wants to join me a mere 1.5 mile ride to the start of that one from the end of the waggonways on quite roads and traffic free paths.
