Riding around Ceiriog Valley

We will make our way from our start point and head down towards the Ceiriog valley. We will pass through Glyn Ceiriog - there are public toilets here if someone should need them. We will carry on up to Llanarmon and have our photograph taken with the famous hand of Llanarmon.
We will do then retrace our steps back to our start point - this is an out and back route with a fair bit of climbing up to Llanarmon but we will take this at our own pace and no one will be left behind. From Llanarmon most of the route back is mostly downhill. Before we head back to our start point we will call at Caffi Wylfa for refreshments.

This is the first ride in a series of rides I am going to be putting on in preparation for the Tour De Mon sportive in Anglesey in August. However you don’t need to be entered into the sportive to attend the ride.

This beautiful undulating route starts off on Chirk riding along the Ceiriog to Llanarmon DC. This is an undulating route with a bit of climbing from Chirk to Llanarmon but this is gradual however this ride would not be suitable for beginners.

We will stop at Caffi Wylfa at the end of the ride. But we can stop anytime to take photos admire the scenery etc.

Helmets are mandatory on this ride as well as card for the cafe - please note this cafe only takes card payments. Please also bring a spare inner tube as well as a drink and or snack.
