A steady-paced ride to the Steel City Downhill, which is an amazing race against the clock organised by a mountain bike legend – Steve Peat – who has won more world cups than the combined total achieved by Argentina, Brazil and Germany. Indeed, he has mentored the current World Cup Champion, Josh Bryceland, who’s the red-hot favourite to win this breathtaking race for the second year running. Last year, even though it rained, 3,000 spectators attended this amazing cycling event. Several folks had cowbells, foghorns and instruments made out of bike parts. There are amazing catering stalls and bars along the course, even music, too.
