Cutty Sark Gardens by the entrance to the Greenwich Foot Tunnel.
This is a ride to see the Leon Golub 'Bite Your Tongue' and Boomerang exhibitions at the Serpentine Gallery. Entry is free. The first exhibition is all about oppression, violence and the misuse of power. We start off by walking though the Greenwich Foot Tunnel and then cycle past Canary Wharf to join the Cycle Superhighway 3. You can also meet us at 1.40pm at St James' Gardens, Limehouse. CS3 then takes us to Aldgate. We then follow the Thames Walkway on the north bank of the Thames to get to Temple. At some places we will have to push our bikes, but it's worth doing this as the views across the river are spectacular. We then cycle on to Hyde Park where will will stop to visit the exhibition at the Serpentine Gallery in Kensingtom Gardens. There is a cafe there where we can stop for some food (“People who love to eat are always the best people.” - Julia Child). We then cross back over the Thames at Blackfriars Bridge and cycle back to Greenwich.
