Ride to See the Lions

This route begins at Baker Street - you can take your bike on the Met Line on Sundays, and will need to carry it up the stairs at Baker Street and down stairs at the end in Aldgate. Others will help you if necessary. We cycle through the quiet Sunday-morning streets of Marylebone to Hyde Park, go down the new Park Lane cycle lane to Hyde Park Corner, past Buckingham Palace on Cycleway 3 to Parliament Square, across the river and through Leake Street to admire the graffiti before arriving at the Born Free Lions on Millennium Green. https://www.bornfree.org.uk/born-free-forever
After a coffee stop in Balance we'll cycle south of the river on a Quietway, across Blackfriars Bridge and through the City of London to Aldgate station, from which we take the train back to Harrow. It's an easy sightseeing ride to give you a taste of how much fun it can be to cycle through central London. Please do not come if you have any symptoms of Covid-19 or have been told to self-isolate.
