Ride to National Open Garden Little Dunmow

From Rayne station we will head out through Great Saling and Stebbing then to Little Dunmow. Here we will find the Open garden which promises a sneak peek at an inspiring and varied garden with planting, designing and sustainability ideas. It features a recently redesigned, south facing front courtyard. Herbaceous mixed borders with spring bulbs and autumnal colour. A large enclosed vegetable garden with potting shed and cold frames. A wildflower bank and woodland areas, mature trees, natural hedges and chemical free lawns. A redundant swimming pool area has been turned into a petanque pitch and gazebo. Our return will take us back to Rayne via Felsted.

We will be on quiet roads for most of the ride.

Please wear a helmet and bring a spare inner tube. Entrance to the garden is £5 plus anything extra for refreshments.
