Park Life Cafe, Burgess Park, 3 Chumleigh St, London

This is a ride from Burgess Park to visit the cafe and gardens at Fulham Palace. As Cycle Superhighway 5 between Oval and Pimlico has been completed, it is now much easier for Southwark cyclists and cyclists in Southwark to venture across the river and explore all the interesting places which can be found in north London. Thames cycle paths are not just south London things - there is a very nice one by Imperial Wharf on the north bank of the Thames which we will use on this ride, Our ride starts off by following CS5 and then CS8 to Chelsea Bridge. We then seek out paths by the Thames in order to reach Putney Bridge, where we stop of at Fulham Palace for an hour for a refreshment break and to visit the gardens there. We cross back over Putney Bridge and follow the Thames Path on the south side of the river to Battersea Park and then to Vauxhall again, returning to Burgess Park via CS5.
