About the route
This ride takes us to the historic city of Durham. Starting from Wynyard Woodland Park, we ride north up the Castle Eden Walkway along NCN 1 all the way to Haswell. We turn west to join NCN 14, which takes us through Sherburn and Gilesgate all the way into Durham City Centre. We break here, for our coffee stop before completing the return journey in reverse.
