Ride through the Lakes to Aston Hall

This route in mainly on traffic free paths and goes through the green open spaces of Perry Meadows Park, Witton Lakes and Brookvale Park. There is a small section on the quieter roads especially at the start of the ride.

From Brookvale Park we turn right on to North Park Rd and follow the sign to the City Centre (veer left) where we reach Electric Avenue. We then continue on the roads until we reach Aston Hall. We will have a quick stop in the grounds. There are toilets there onsite.

On the return we will cycle through the same route until we reach the Wellbeing Centre.

We will stop for a refreshment break at Greggs on Electric Avenue (20-30 mins)

You will need to have your own bike and it is recommended to wear a cycle helmet to join the ride. We will do a bike check prior to the ride, to check everything is alright before you start the ride.

Please bring a drink with you to hydrate, a spare inner tube(s) or puncture kit, cycle pump and tyre levers.
